***TRIAL OF ONLINE BOOKING OF GP CALL BACK APPOINTMENTS***

Due to the continuing  Covid restrictions the Practice has decided to trial the introduction of a limited number of telephone call back appointments for the GPs that can be booked through Online Patient Services.

- Appointments can be booked up to 7 days in advance.

- You will be called back on your booked date however please note these slots are not time specific.

- Please provide some information as to what your consultation is regarding and the most appropriate telephone number to contact you on in the notes section of your booking.

- The GP will confirm there are no covid related symptoms in your household prior to starting your consultation.

Please do not book any appointments for any covid related symptoms, these should be dealt with through calling 111.

Why does the receptionist need to ask what's wrong with me?

Reception staff are trained to ask certain questions to ensure that you receive

  • The most appropriate medical care
  • From the most appropriate health professional
  • At the most appropriate time

Receptionists are asked to collect brief information from patients

  • To help doctors prioritise home visits and phone calls
  • To ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care
  • To direct patients to see the nurse or other health care professional rather than a doctor where appropriate.

We would like to thank all of our patients for their cooperation during the transition period of moving to our new website. Online Services is now available where you can book appointments and request repeat medication through a personal online account. Please bring photographic ID and fill out the form at reception to register.
